Gasketed Plate Heat Exchangers
A plate heat exchanger is a type of heat exchanger that uses metal plates to transfer heat between two fluids. This has a major advantage over a conventional heat exchanger in that the fluids are exposed to a much larger surface area because the fluids spread out over the plates. This facilitates the transfer of heat, and greatly increases the speed of the temperature change. Larger commercial versions use gaskets between the plates.
The global applications for industrial heat exchangers calls for a wide and deep product range, putting great demand on the equipment. SPX APV ParaFlow is designed to meet customer’s needs, whether this is for very small flows, or the extra-large kind, up to 4500 m3/h. With the selection of materials, connections and accessories, we can supply equipment for practically every heat transfer need. The ParaWeld and Paramine technologies expand the boundaries for gasketed plate heat exchangers. Added the long experience in after sales services, we are your all round partner for heat transfer.
